      What do you think?

I have been trying to come up with a dash insert for 70-72 Chevelle/Monte Carlo... I don't like the Covans looks cheep and ABS plastic is too flimsy. I was looking A the Wood grain cover for my 72 Monte and though this might work?

I cut the center out made a card board template and then did fiber glass mat to get the shape I wanted and refined w/ bondo...

only took 2 day so far, just need to prime and paint and lay out gauges...I got the panel from EBay total cost so far is $45.00 big savings over Covans ....here are some pictures
