      Choices, choices...

I have to get new tires for my car's 17x9s. I have BFGs KDW2s on it now but I would like to get something else. The ride is rough and loud, and on rough roads the car fights with me. The sizes I have now are 245/40/ZR17 91Y. I would like to get a tire that performs good and lasts well tread wise. I'm tired of getting new tires all the time cause they were out. They would be for my daily driver so they have to last. What would be the right sidewall height to get as well? Right now the tires I have when I make turns tuck under the rim's lip so I would like to get a tire size that is a bit larger on the sidewall height to protect the rims better. Any help would be great thanks!

My goodyear F1's are nice. Went through 2 sets and no issues. Come to think of it, Most of the GY's i've used did well. Kumho's got pretty noisy nears its end.

Maybe run 45 series up front then stagger the rears to 275's.
