      Update!

It seems like its taking a very long time, but the guys at the shop are almost done with the bodywork! After they finish the hood, they will smooth the firewall and prep for paint. This will be the last update for awhile, since I will be leaving later this week for a one year deployment.

Here are a few pictures I took last week:

The car is finally getting some color!

The goal is to have it painted and assembled when I come home for block leave in December.

      Base coat and CA g-link

I was on leave last week and got a chance to stop by the shop and check out the progress of the build. The car was shot with a base coat and the new Chassisworks g-link / FAB housing with 14” disk breaks were installed.

I will order the wheels from Fesler this week!

Your car and the work on it look great. For the job you are doing you deserve something nice to look forward to when your deployment is up. Stay safe and enjoy finishing it for when your service is over. Keep the photo's and updates coming.

Fesler FS905 wheels with Toyo Proxes 888 tires
First the wheels, FS905 with Polished lip, polished face and black bolts and inner dish. The wheels are a 18X9 Front and 18X12 in the rear and they look sick.

The tires are the brand new TOYO PROXES 888 and they are sick, I will get them mounted up today or tomorrow and post up the shots mounted. 245/40 18 front and 335/30 18 rear.

Here are some pictures taken this past Spring. The shop is currently assembling the car and will soon start to cut and buff the paint. Can’t wait to get the wheels and tires on the car!

      Final test fit...

First of all thank you for your service.

This car is awesome! Love those wheels! I'm glad the thread didn't slip by as they sometimes do. Most cars from California seem to have pretty good sheet metal to start with. Did you change out all those panels because of rust, plastic,??? just wondering.

It’s been a long time since I updated this thread. The car is assembled and the LS3 engine and transmission is in the car. I will be working on the ISIS wiring this winter and the interior this spring. Below are some of my favorite pictures taken over the past couple of months.
