      New guy in California

Just wanted to introduce myself on the board. I have two 1968 Camaros, an original, down to the paint, L78 SS396 and a standard coupe that I am currently modifying. It is an original 327/4 speed, drum brakes with a 4.11 12 bolt, odd but true. As unusual as the drivetrain is, the original color is Corvette Bronze, which was a short run color in 68.
Engine is pretty much done. It's an aluminum head small block that dynoed at a little over 530hp and 520ft/lbs torque.
I am looking at this being an occasional driver with quite a bit of attention to handling performance. This is my 5th 1st gen, and want to go a different direction than my previous builds which were more boulevard cruisers/show queens. I want a more hard-edged performance car this time around. Not interested in air, soft ride, chrome or flash, just all around performance.
I have lurked here for a few months and thought I might as well join and get some advice.
      Thanks for letting me ramble.....

I live outside of Fresno. I'll get some pics of both cars within the next couple of weeks.
      Thanks for the welcome!
