      The Genesis Chevelle

Here's some car porn...frame is back on the car and the underside is cleaned and coated.
Now some people asked about the Goodmark panels and how they fit. I pulled mine out and mocked them up and in all honesty, I'm really impressed. The metal is thinner (of course) but the line of my door edge and the fender edge are dead parallel on both sides...unreal, huh? There is no metal flashing hanging off anywhere and overall seem to be nice pieces with all the bolt holes in the correct location. I haven't mocked up the hood yet which might be a whole different story but it is a NOS piece so I'm hoping not to have to cry in frustration. Check it out-

And as a note my Goodmark repo roof fit very well also.

Well, I like Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel but the name was more symbolic of the Chevelle being the beginning for me of some very nice cars.

Are you going to run '70 fenders or '71s (sans sidemarkers)?

I am happy that my fenders are sound as shipping of those items to Italy would be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Looks great Keith. I see you have the seats and steering wheel in place so that you and the CF can make vroom-vroom sounds.
