      Custom Pearl Blue Help

In the August 2006 issue of Super Chevy there was a car done in a custom pearl blue paint on a ss chevelle, and was wondering if anyone has seen this color or tried to match it as close as possible? I would really like to paint my nova that is in the project update section this color or close to it. Any help would be wonderful, as its the nicest blue I have ever seen!

I have included a picture of the color, to see if anyone can help me with the color or point me in the right direction, thanks

Blue like this nova? This one is medium lapis blue, a ford explorer color, Chryler has one close to it too, I think the code is PB2.

Yep, PBR Viper blue. Neon is similar. Looks fantastic in the sun.

I believe that Chevelle is Marina blue with a lot of metallic.

I like the colors, the vette is really nice, but... I really want that molten look from the pearl base. I think the color is some sort of pearl base with a translucent blue to give it the molten look. I am just not a fan of metal flake, I painted my tr7 with a 455 olds conversion with the black cherry and really did not like it once it was on the car. I am just trying to find a color other than red, the other option was the HOC Tangelo Pearl. Most every car I did was Guards Red in Glasurit, and wanted to change it up!

Check to see if Dupont has something close in the Hot Hues line.
