Project MuskRat (56 Nomad)

I'm new here and just starting on my project, so I thought I'd start with my first post on project update. I will post progress pics as soon as I figure out how to make my digital camara work with my outdated computer.
Project MuskRat will be a PT 56 Nomad with an Injected 502, 5 or 6 speed, Corvette IRS and all the modern comforts of newer cars.
I have separated the body from the frame, and I'm now in the prosess of installing a Dana 44. So far the progress has been steady, but it appears I will need to narrow the axles to fit a rim with a little more dish than the stock Corvette rims. The Dana is 631/2" rotor face to rotor face and the stock rear is 601/2" hub to hub. I would like to run a 10" rim with a tire that will give me about a 12" tread width.
Please chime in if you've had any experience with a project like this.
