      Photoshop fun!

So I was playing around with photoshop and read a tutorial on carbon fiber and I might have gone too far....I was originally just wanting to have the carbon fiber fade from the front into the paint and add a chin spoiler which I think turned out pretty cool. The rest is just for fun

Wow, that looks sick!! What program did you use to create the car itself?

Thanks, That is a rendering originally done by Kris Horton www.CarsbyKris.com. Not sure what program he uses. He may chime in here....and what the hell how about with some mesh added...

HA HA I was waiting for the ricer correlation to come up. I agree the mesh was just for fun. I'm only going to keep the chin spoiler and carbon fiber the hood, center grill section, and the headlight bezels, but most of that will get painted over exept the very front where it fades from. Mostly for weight reduction and they don't make a 2-3" cowl in fiberglass. Plus I've never seen this done before like this. Kinda like mixing the nostalgic hot rod scheme with the new age trend. The chin will resemble the one on a 1970 Buick GSX. Don't worry Im not going to add a 4 foot wing either.

It will look more like this with some kind of brake cooling duct inlets in the bumper and no more Outlaw 4" Hood, but I plan on making a selinoid operated flapper. Oh and since a lot of us will have to run a front license plate I might as well design around it.

Zefhix suggested a carbon fiber bumper too, which I had to try, but I think it takes away from the subtleness that I was originally going for. Its fun to play with though anyways!! It does look kinda bad, hmm maybe if I sell off everything I own I can do the whole car in CF.

I like the CF bumper for the front because then the trasition from new age to muscle car is a little more apparent.....I think it's bad-a$$ but I have a soft spot for dark colored bumpers on these Chevelles
