      The Fastlane Fairlane is SOLD!

This project is just about done and I'm gearing up for my next build. Since I'm not rich and I don't have a warehouse to keep a bunch of cars in I decided to sell the Fairlane to free up cash and space.

But she is going to a good home back east and the new owner is even a board member here. The funny thing is that he's a "Chevy guy" that now owns a Mopar and a Ford. lol

Going to miss the car though. It drives so nice and can destroy the tires at most speeds. The ride is better than my Camaro (even thoug the steering isn't).

I still need to finish the interior, run her down the 1/4 mile, shoot a feature and then install and AOD transmission since the C4 sucks on the freeway. Then she heads to the new owner who I know will drive her hard.

We did a huge burn-out today and video taped it. When I figure out how to get it burned to my computer I will post up the video. I think I need drag radials in back if I have any hope of getting traction.

It was sure fun playing for the blue oval team...

I'm looking for a smoking deal on a 67-68 Camaro. Don't care if there's a drivetrain, but I want as good a body as I can find.

Penny needs a sister.. an angry sister.. lol

Are you the old goat or did you mean a car? lol

The car is a freaking beast.. best sounding Ford I've heard in quite some time.

New axles work great although one of the seals is leaking so I need to fix it.. Hopefully can get the interior done this week and get that fixed so I can hit the track. I really like the darker wheels.

The new home is in TN.. And I know the new owner like to drive his cars. I would think he has plans to take it around. The Fairlane isn't a "show car" but she is a very nice driver. Putting in the AOD trans will make it much nicer on the freeway.

I'm sure the buyer will pop into the thread

I meant car, but I may be in the garage from time to time too, since it is in my back yard.....hehe

Leaking seal huh? That is the one thing I hate about Ford rearends. I finally found a sealed bearing with built in seals that solved my issues.

Looks Awesome. Maybe by the time he gets it, he will be off the couch and back in the bedroom. I looks like the guy in the window likes the car as well.

I might toss on some Nitto drag radials.. I think I knocked 5,000 miles off the ones on the car today. ;)

I'm really trying to stay under $8k... all the stuff other than a clean body isn't very important to me since it will all be replaced. Engines from me are easy, rust isn't.
