      One Year Anniversary

Well, it has been exactly one year since I dropped my car off to be painted. It is still not in Primer. I have a friend doing the work for a VERY good deal so I haven't pushed him too much. He started out making great progress (and there was a ton more body work than we originally expected, like 17 coats of paint to remove) but then he was put on overtime and works like 70 some hours a week......sooooo its still there. Just needed to post and vent. I should have it back this summer though. Sigh. The thread "Post all your finished cars....." makes me cry every time I check it out.

Whaddya know. I get home tonight from work and the painter left a voicemail. "Holy Crap, do you realize it's been a year since you dropped this car off!!!" He said he's starting to slow down at work so he's gonna get going on it again. I should be posting updated pics soon........................right?!?!?!
