      Progress Update Pictures

So, I have been working on the ol' girl lately. Finished up sound deadening the front half, new carpet in, and seatbelt bolt backing plates installed (drove it for the first time since around Thanksgiving).

It's in the mid 60's here now and it was a cantankerous beast until it warmed up and then transformed into a rocket. First drive ever in cooler weather.

I want to clean up the wires in the engine bay and I am measuring my necessary clearances to possibly get a low rise intake that several members may have. I want to get the stock hood back on. If not I have my cowl hood prepped for paint now - I may sand it one more time by hand though.

After the Moultrie car show tomorrow I'm going to install the passenger seatbelt and Armor All the interior (I've never done that before either - the project is finally getting all the loose ends tied)!

The last picture is the day I brought the car home as a roller with no dash, shabby interior, no transmission, etc (11/25/06). I have never let it sit idle for more than a week or two. Constant tinkering and pin number entering.

Looks good. Wish I could say the same about time spent on my projects lately.

I like the wheel choice. Look'n good. Vast improvement over the original.
