Interior Plastic Repair (Not Dash) - Need Help

Okay. I've got an '85 S10 with extended cab. For those that have never been in one, it's not very large. There are two TINY jumpseats in the back that fold out of the corners of the back of the cab. They face each other vs. facing the front of the truck.

To reduce weight, I removed them.

Sorry for the crappy pics. It was a few years ago.

Okay, well now that you essentially know what it looks like, I need help on how to repair the plastic. Well, not repair, exactly. I want to MOLD the seat surrounds to the back of the old seats. The seats are gone. I just want the plastic back in there. And it doesn't need to look GREAT. Because I'll be covering it up with some sort of suede/leather/vinyl in the future. But it needs to be relatively smooth so when I cover the seams I won't be able to see them.

      Are you guys following me???

So what materials should I use? Fiberglass? Some sort of epoxy? Is there a plastic in a squeezable tube???

Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

I would make an mdf frame and fiberglass it. would be pretty easy for a panel like that.

Why wouldn't I just use the PRE-FIT panels? Why make MDF when I've already got the panels that fit my application??? Everything down to the screw-holes.

Would fiberglass work on the plastic?

I'd take the side trim panel (the one next to the door opening) cut it back close to the door and mold (glue) a new piece of abs to it bringing it to the back rear panel, which if it doesn't have one would now have one. covering over the whole x seat area. making the whole trim area back there smooth and contoured.
but there again. thats just what I do>>>
      ps: don't forget the insulation

      Right.

I'm not so much confused on what I want to do. It's the "using what" I don't know about.

So when you say "glue" you mean Elmer's, right? ;)

What kind of glue? Is there a glue made for interior plastic? Epoxy? Fiberglass?

abs glue ... home depot, menards. then you can glass it if you'd like to smooth the overlap or bondo.
