      Sema 05?

Is it too early to be thinking about this years sema show and the infamous pro-touring dinner? I want to be within walking distance of both this year as last year I had problems and almost missed the dinner. Last year was good as we hit the drags the sunday before the show. Looks like the drags are a week earlier this year so what else is good to do the weekend before the show? Anybody got any plans yet? I guess I have cabin fever stuck up here in Idaho.

Mike, changes are a commin' for the dinner. It should still be close to the convension center though. Try getting the room at the Stardust. It is only a few blocks from SEMA.

Daryn, I live 30 minutes north of Idaho Falls. Where are you located? I guess I will be patient and wait for more info.

Im on the Idaho/Oregon Border in a town called Fruitland. My shop is in Ontario, OR. I guess in light of the fact that everybody else is a world away we are next door neighbors.

I can't wait for SEMA '05. It's never to early to think about it . The dinner will almost definitely not be at the Greek Isles like in '04. We're still working on getting a bigger place for '05.

The food wasn't the best, but it really is not about the food at something like this, it's the people. I am sure banquet space is a little difficult to find on this busy week, especially in close proximity to the show. The only disappointment I had was that it was almost impossible to meet people without walking around sticking you face in others chest trying to read name tags. It would be great if we could take 5 minutes after all are seated, before dinner, and all board members simply stand and announce our names. This would help those that have not met identify others for conversation after dinner, or whatever.
There were a few people I wanted to meet, I simply never saw or could identify.

Hey Daryn, If I get over that way I will have to look you up. Frank, I agree with you about the introduction thing. Last year I had friends with me and they really didnt want to stick around so I didnt get to meet hardly anybody. I'm coming by myself this year.

Wow, you guys have a dinner there? That's cool. I've been wanting to go to SEMA ever since it's been around and I finally convinced the wife we need to go (not to hard since we go to Vegas at least twice a year). When is SEMA? Does anyone on these boards have booths?
