i would offer $2500 for everything including trans.if he says no,pass on the transand atleast get the motor.
if the trans ended up not working right you are going to spend a few hundred having it rebuilt.i've seen complete trans packages with hydrolics, clutch, flywheel, etc sell or around $1500.

The seller doesn't know if the harness and ECM is for a stick or auto trans. Is this a problem ?....... or is it better to find a complete package. Since i'm living in Norway and we NEvER have parts/cars for this motr/trans at junkyard I'm afraid that parts are missing.

I don't believe that's a problem. You're PCM can be programmed as a manual or an automatic. It's all in the software.

$2200 would not be a bad price for that. '01's have the LS6 intake (which that one has) so that saves you one less item to buy, or if you're converting to carb you can get a couple hundred bones for the LS6 intake easy. However, that mill looks like it has more than 33K on it. Unless it's been stored somewhere damp and dirty for a couple years.

Do a compression test on it just to be sure. Worse comes to worse you just have to freshen up the bottom end. And that's just the cost of some new rings and bearings. LS1's are tough little critters.
