      Window tint

As I prepare for my new (to me) car to arrive from California, I'm already making plans. One of the first things I'd like to do is tint the windows on the car. I prefer dark windows for my own driving enjoyment, but I'm not sure how well the Camaro will look with tinted windows.

The car is white with red stripes and I was considering using a reflective tint, like I used on some of my other light colored cars. I have darker vehicles with regular black tint, but I think lighter cars work well with the reflective tint. Here's a picture of my E55 and SL500 for reference - this is a 30% reflective...

Here is the car I'm buying from my friend...

Thoughts? Pics of Camaros with dark tint?

It's obvioulsy a personal thing but myself, I can't stand the reflective tint. I think all you cars would look better with black...no offence to you as this is a personal preference.

Do Not go with the reflective tint on the Camaro. Go black - trust me.

That's a good looking car there. I would concur, dark tint will look the best.

Thanks for the opinions, guys. I'm sure you all fear my M$paint skillz (it's mad skils when you spell it with a "Z") :D

I think it will look good with the normal black tint.

I'll be posting up about adding powersteering as soon as I clear some space in the garage to work on it.

Limo back and 30% on the sides for me (before the LEO told me to take it off the sides). Black looks best on these old cars.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

I have to second what MarkM66 said about no tint looking best.

But, you know, if pro-touring your car isn't enough to make the purists cranky, some Gila Films Extreme Pink ought to make them
