Question on Glass for a 68 GTO, another vent window question

I have a 68 GTO that I would like to remove the vent windows.
I have searched and not found anything specific to 68 -72 GM A-Bodies.

From what I understand the 68 -72 GM A-Body doors externally are the same unlike Camaros.

So if I replace the internals with 69 - 72 stuff and mount the tracks in different locations. I should be able to use the non-vent A-Body 69+ glass?

In general is all the glass the same for the 68 -72 GM A-bodies?
I found the front and rear windshield but can not find the rear quarter glass.

I have the 68 GTO? power window conversion kit from OPGI. Can I use them or will the track lenght be wrong as they "should" be set up for vent windows?

      TIA

does anyone have an answer on my 68 vent window question?

I have the 1968 Power Window Regulators from OPGI.
      part #'s CH25317 & CH25318

Do the 1968 Power Window Regulators have the track attached to them, on the opgi website it shows the motor and regulator with no track. I don't have access to them being 14hrs away....

Where can I get the window track?
I have a new highway 22 wiring harness and switches.
Do I need other parts besides the glass?

can I use the parts from the manual 68 window system?
Drill out the rivets and ????

      thanks

I have done some research and the following is correct:

There are three window regulators for GTO's - 68. 69 and 70 -72 according to Ames.
I have the original manual and power regulators for a 1968 GTO.

All the internals of the doors are different from a 86 to 69, but there appears to be space to make it work..

The 1968 power regulators that I have did not come with track(s).

Has anyone used the OPGI 1969 door glass which comes with the track?

I "think" that if I remove the vent windows and use a 1968 regulator and use the original 1968 track(s) with 1969 glass it should work.
I am not sure if I could use a 1968 regulator with the 1969 track and 1969 glass.

Can someone provide guidance if my theory will work?
      Has anyone done this?

      thanks

You may want to try asking at PYForums. The poncho specific guys probably know quite a bit more than what you'll find here. Not sure though, as they tend to be very "purist" on that site.
'66 GTO Vert Project "Red Ink", 462ci of stroked pontiac power, TKO600, SC&C Stg II+, Tubular lowers, Currectrac Rear suspension, Moser 12bolt w/Truetrack, Wilwood Master and discs all around, too much fun for words...
