      72 Monte Carlo

      Hi,
I’m David from Rock hill Sc.

I just found this sight and have had a blast reading previous posts, so I thought I would post a picture of my ride.
Its 72 Monte Carlo, w/ a new 396 (out of a 67 Chevelle) was rebuilt 30 over with a mild cam , I did the 700R4 upgrade last year and just got the rear end completed last month, posi w/ 373 gears.

I look forward to learning more about how to make it all work from you all.

This is the only downloadable picture I have right now.

There's nothing wrong w/ green. Here's my Dads 70 454 SS Monte sitting on Hotchkis and KYB's, it rides nice!

Welcome! I've always had a soft spot for Pre-78 Monte Carlos.

Green is a great color for Gen 1. You should have seen mine....95 Ford Windstar bright aqua and no vinyl roof or rocker trim. It was disgusting!
