Rad Rides Pro Touring 1956 Chrysler 300

This one is sick... the Rad Rides crew is building a '56 Chrysler 300 on full Viper suspension, 1000hp twin turbo NASCAR power, and all the detail you'd expect from Rad Rides. Check out the chassis, formed entirely from .090" chrome moly sheet steel... piece by piece!

It's a Penske / Jasper motor that they're adding the twins to.

(But would'nt it be cool if there were power adders in the Cup?)

My son and I visited Rad Rides over the holiday period. This car is awesome, as is everything in the shop. I'm sure it comes as no surprise that even their forklift is the nicest I've ever seen. It too is tricked out. The Rad Rides crew couldn't have been more hospitable, so even though we were in Chicago for a wedding, the side trip to Rad Rides was the highlight of the trip for me. Their work is amazing.

Its not a real 300 though. They started with a Windsor or New Yorker and put a 300 front clip on it. Or they could have used an Imperial front clip too. Not knit picking, just taking note from the build photos on the net.

Troy says that in the clip.

OOPS, I guess I should have watched the clip. I was just going off of the photos I had followed on his site. Thanks for pointing that out.

Troy said that kind of fab work on the chassis separates them from a lot of shops out there. Anyone know what other shops do metal forming like Rad Rides did on this '56?
