stainless line help
I bought 3/16 stainless steel tubing to make lines with, the biggest problem being you canot use a regular flaring tool set to flare the ends. The tubing is too stiff and pushes through the holding device....Does anybody know of a cheap/easy/quick alternative to use for flaring stainless tubing? Looks like hydraulic flare tool set is about $300. ?!?!

Put the clamp in a vise to squeeze it tighter. I hit the clamp with a hammer to "bite" before I put the clamp in the vice. Then I sand and polish the scare away
