      I need help

what are your thoughts on doing a replica of this car? is it something thing that you could live with or do you think you would get sick of it quickly. I am really having a hard time deciding a path for my 68 camaro. I love this car. I just need help! deciding a path.

to be more clear i am not looking to do an exact replica of the car. I just really love the race car look. But is it something that in a year of having it i would i be happy that i went that route. i want something modern but with a race car look from the outside.

I think it would be awesome but I think the #6 was more touted. Not sure though, there were three 6,8, and 26. Mark Donohue ran the 6. Smokey yunick had a pretty badazz looking car as well, #13 Black and gold.

If it were mine I'd love the look of a vintage Trans-Am style car but with a simple paint job, one without graphics or several different colors. Just imagine the pictured car solid blue. I think I'd run maybe some silver painted bumpers (fiberglass or steel, but no chrome!) just to break things up a bit, and have a comfy interior. It would be easy to change the look of the car to a more modern look with just a wheel & tire swap if you wanted a change every now & then. I'm no Chip Foose but I think that would be a really neat car.

Trans-Am is hot. I tried to pull some styling ques from these cars when I built my Nova. There are several design elements you can pull from the real cars to give your street car that vibe. Bumper lines moulded, window retainers, side exhaust, hood pins, and wheel choice will make or break that look. Go for it dude!

The irony is that the vintage look is not a trend, so it will never go out of style. The old skool look wont look dated...even when it is.

If you think you might grow tired of a car fast you would probably grow tired of any car fast. I think a 68 camaro would be great for you because when you do get tired of it you have plenty of different hoods, spoilers and plenty of other pieces you can change whenever you feel like it.
