      My new garage project...

My car build is on hold while I build a garage to work in. Got my walls and roof set and dried in. Time to do shingles and electric next.

Well finally got my roof shingled and a driveway poured. Running electrical now. Hope to have live power and garage doors by end of the month.

Thanks Young Gun. Been here 15 years. Before prices started to sky rocket here. And yes shortrack The block is for the storms. We should be able to use this as an alternate shelter if necessary. Hope to have it completed by end of March or early April.

      Jealousy and Comic Relief...

"looks awsome! im wayy jealous... you just cant get that land in houston without paying huuuuuuuge"

Ummm, what he said x 10.

I live in West L.A., so imagine how I feel.

(For y'all that live outside of CA or NY, here's a little comic relief, namely, what a MILLION bucks gets you in L.A.,CA (seriously).) (Keep in mind that CA is rated 46th or 47th in quality of public schools in the U.S.)

$1,000,000 even, and this isn't even a particularly good neighborhood.

$1,029,000 for a 2 bed 2 bath in a decent but hardly spectacular neighborhood.

$1,049,000 in the same unspectacular neighborhood as the first picture.

$1,069,000 for a 3 bed 2 bath in an okayish neighborhood.

I could go on, but I don't want to spend Sunday evening weeping uncontrollably in the corner of my garage-less apartment debating whether to buy lottery tickets or move out of state.

Feel free to forward this to anyone you may know who doubt's there's a serious real estate bubble in parts of this country.

Nice garage. The height is 12'. I plan to put a two post lift in the far right bay as soon as it's done.
