      The engine is done!

360 Mopar based 408 cid stroker motor, D1SC ProCharger, Edelbrock Stage II heads by Hughes Engines, Crane Cams roller lifters, Crane roller rockers, Super Victor intake, forged Diamond Racing pistons, K1 forged H-beam rods, 4" forged K1 crankshaft, Snow Performance water injection, Perfomance Carb prepped 750 cfm Holley Dominator, 1 7/8" Hedman headers

"Street" tuned at 584 HP / 600 lbft. Had it up to 650 HP but it had too much timing and for detonation reasons and streatability we set the timing to 27 degrees and it lost 66 HP.

Any type of cooling, via water or alky injection? It might allow the higher boost. The alky is injecting an alcohol, so it tends to allow the higher boost and timing, since the alcohol takes out the heat, and is flamable.

The bracket is a superchargerstore.com piece. The mostly do Mopar kits. The headers are Hedman 1 7/8. We had some Hooker 1 5/8" Comps on there but they proved to be a bottleneck. I searched and searched to find a bigger set and the only option besides doing a custom set was these. There is one tube on the riht side that is supposed to go though the inner-fender. The drag racers over at Moparts.com swear by them for E-bodies.
      It's going in a 1970 'cuda I've been working on between deployments(military).
I am leaving in Feb. so I will be saving for the paint and body work. Suspension and drivetrain is complete now.

I leave for the middle east area in about one month and was going to thrash to get it in the car and everything plumbed, wired, connected and such but I want to spend my last month with my girls. Also, it is possibly going to be getting the bodywork and some paint done before my return around the holidays '08 so I am hesitant to spend alot of time on it for nothing.
If everything goes right it will only be on the engine stand in the "corner of obscurity" for a year, along with the 'never run' 440 6 pack, broken tire balancer, and various forgotten small parts.

Thanks man. We are going to have to get together with some other MS ans LA boys and do Cruizin' or a trip to RTTH in '09. I know I am missing everything in '08 but I'm sure all those things will still be around in a few years.
