seat height in mustang?
Well the integrated belt BMW seats I was going to use just dont allow enough headroom and at this stage of the build i dont want to modify the seat platforms. I'm looking at the the Corbeau LG1 or Arizen seats. Does anybody have experience with these in early Mustang? hedroom, mounts and sliders?

I know to fit modern seats with sliders in the earlier 'Stangs, the pan has to be cut down 2". I took mine out and made spacers with bracing. I plan to tie everything into my subframe connectors soon as the floor flex's a bit.

I didn't have the bucks for the high dollar seats at this point but bought a cheap set of Summit sport style seats for my '71. With the seat platform completely removed the rear of the sliders sit on the floor pans while the front was lifted approx. 1.5 inches. I built a square tube frame to support the seat. Even after complete removal of the stock seat pan the new seats sit just a bit higher than the old worn out stock seat. It reallly isn't noticeable unless you have the new and old seats sitting next to each other. The ride is great though.

Yeah, thats what I'm concerned about. I'll spend a grand on new seats and have the same exact clearance, and wind up building new platforms anyway. Mustangs Plus is somewhat local, I may go there and see if they have any mustangs in their restomod showroom with Corbeau's.

I even tried swaping the factory sliders on the new seats, that didn't help either. What I found was that the seat base sat too level; I wanted more of an incline(tipped back) to the seat. The stock pan just can't accomidate that. You have to build a new platform. I did toy with the idea of finding Corvette power seat sliders. I'm pretty sure that if the stock seat pan was removed that you could have bolted them straight to the floor. Problem is I never found anyone with any experiance with this and they are NOT cheap. I'll send you the specks for the platform I built for my '71. I know that the floor pans are interchangeable with earlier models so it would likely work for you too.
