Thanks for the complements guys a little update I have been working on The garage attached to my home finishing the insulation on the ceiling I still need to put my lights back up but this will allow me to work on Torino parts this winter. The plan is to work on the doors, fenders and trunk lid that all need rust repair.

Well I didn't get to the body work I wanted to do this winter but I did pick up a 96 Crown Vic Rearend with Disc Brakes so I can convert them over to my 9". I will also be using the Sway bar and brackets.

Not bad for $50 I have the brackets off and I'm sand plasting them at work.

      Thanks Guys

I got a little time in the shop this weekend and made up some new perch brackets to mount the sway bar. I used the original u-Brackets and bushings from the Crown Vic should work out nice I think.

      complete pro touring front end

Just curious, do you already have the front suspension for this car? I have one that I bought a few years back that I am no longer able to use. I could make you a killer deal if you are interested. I paid 2600.00 when I bought it, and it is awesome! If you are interested, email me at [email protected]. It is made specifically to fit your car.

I have been working on the 9" housing getting it ready for paint and got the first coat on tonight. I had it sand blasted and used a little filler where the pitting was bad and I also used a textured paint to make it look uniform. The third member housing got painted to I think the red is not dark enough but I like the way it looks so it stays. The sway bar and brackets also got hit with silver.

In this pic you can almost see the 1/4" pad I welded on the bottom this will be drilled and taped for a drain plug.

Finally made some real progress on the Torino I got The front floors back in and started Patching some other areas. This feels like a big step for me since the floors where the first thing I cut out over 3 years ago. I also made filler strips to go along the sub frame connectors since I had over a 1/4" gap in some areas. I opened the gap to a even 1" along both sides so it would look uniform from the underside I still need to do the right side. I also need to patch some holes where the PO had mounted Bucket seats and a consol from a T-Bird The trans tunnel is also a mess where they mounted the shifter.

      Finished up the floors

Took some time but I can now move on to the next project area. I fabed the pans my self I know you can buy them but the toe boards didn't go up as far as I needed them to plus I was able to hide the main weld seam under the subframe rail. Also there is less the $50 in materials this way and we won't count the time

The hack job that the PO did on the trans hump.
