The powder coated / painted body color lips seem to be the hottest thing right now. Forgeline is seeing a lot of orders for them from the Vette / Viper / Porsche crowd. I have a few deals working also for Pro Touring cars using body color lips.

This ZO6 looks fantastic with matching lips, probably one of the best colors for matching lips. Forgeline had a Brandywine lip (transparent red) with black center wheel on display at PRI that was so fricken hot I want to build a car around it!

I've been thinking about doing the color lip on my PT build but, I worry it'll be too much & turn people off.
I agree with you I think it looks awesome.

Shiiiit! Thats one Purdy Z06! I still prefer Atomic Orange over that blue, but man that color just came out and someone is already on top of buying after market wheels and having them color matched?!

Speaking of custom wheels and mentioning Porsche, Porsche actually has their "special wishes" options or whatever they're called, where beyond the fact that you can have your 911 Turbo or so-on painted whatever color you want for the right price $$$$ they also have options to match the wheels to the body color, but on some its over-whelming such as yellow wheels on a yellow car?! but that Corvette above is rather tastefully done since its subtle.
-6Spd EFI 1980 Camaro Z28 - Street Fighter - Amongst other GM autos. Atomic Orange Z06 is next!

There has been many a day I wish I would have just wrote the check for one of those!!! I would have about 10,000 miles on it and about 1.5 years of drive time. Sure wouldn't give me much to do in the garage though would it! Then I think back to driving around my C5 black convertible. I used to see one on every corner. The new Z is pretty popular around here as well. Not to many bad ass pro touring cars cruising down my local streets. In fact I can't recall seeing one through my windshield.

That blue corvette is awesome with the matching wheel lips. Love it.

C6 z06 is my semi attainable dream car. I don't think I could ever convince myself to spend that much though. A regular C6 will have to due... someday.

I'm not sure if I like it or not, I think it may look better with the color choice on the wheels reversed. Paint-shop pros?
