      New guy from Canada

Hello everybody, I've been lurking around this forum for a short time and love the huge amount of info and the rides. This is my favourite ride for rodruns. Itsa 58 apache mounted on a 64 chassis with mods to the drivetrain, suspension and brakes.

Love it, glad I did it. Just dreaming of an LS7. But with the ETP heads it made good power and now got a new ported Fast 90/90 setup that just went on. Shooting for 475rwhp. Not bad for a little 346 cu in.

Yeah. Could very well be! There was a show (Hot Nite in the City) here that had a corvair entourage in attendance and there were a couple of vans involved as well as a pickup. If I remember correctly, it had a side tailgate (sidegate?) as well as the rear one. Got lots of attention!

Lemans is pretty cool too, that must be a rare one with the V8. Most of those had the half a 389 four cylinder, no?

      cheers

Yup, your right. The slant 4. Also called the "Iron Duke". I don't know anything about that engine. I did see one once. I hear they can really romp when loaded with superduty goodies. The 326 that i got in the Lemans ain't no slouch either, but nothing compared to a 389, 421, 400 or a 455.
