      Before Speed TV

Before Speed, we had Speedvision. Does anyone remember what the same network/show was called before that? As I remember it was then part of the Turner Broadcasting Network? I need to know the name of it then.

not speed channel, I think it is called that now. I did a search and speedvision was started in 96. I just remember watching shows before that, and they all ended up on speedvision? Maybe I am just getting too old and losing my mind?lol

One of the 1st auto shows I remember on TNN was Truckin' USA. Ted something was the host and he had a funnly little saying at the end, but it was pretty fun to watch back then. It would be even more fun to watch today. Shade Tree Mechanic followed soon after.
Robert's 1969 Camaro - 2002 LS1/T56, 10pt cage, Global West Stage III front suspension, HTH truck arm rear suspension, Sprint Cup 9" full-floating rear end, Fikse Mach V 17" up front 18" in the back and still working on it...

That's right. Then Spike Lee wanted to sue them for using "his" name.

I used to love the old TNN as a kid. Tractor pulls, buggy races, and the like!

I miss that channel and the old Thursday Night Thunder on ESPN.

American Sports Cavalcade was cool on TNN when I was a kid. Swamp buggy races, tractor pulls, monster trucks, it was always something different every week.

I miss Steve Evan's at the Sippy hole Swamp buggy races on TNN. Those things are the coolest! And yeah, i thought Dean Skuza and Cameron Evans made a great team

      And I miss WCW Wrestling!
