      Spectre Performance Maverick Design Finalist

Spectre Performance has picked the top 7 finalist in their Maverick design contest. Voting will decide the winner. Thankfully I was chosen as one of those finalist.

The entries can be viewed here: www.spectreperformance.com/contest/, I happen to be entry #6. I chose to do a vintage 'Trans-Am' themed Maverick sporting a modern drivetrain. Of course we're all adults so vote for who you like best but any vote from the pro-touring community is greatly appreciated.

For those of you who don't know, Spectre opened this contest last June on Power Tour. The goal is to build the winning ride in time for Power Tour 2008, with the winner driving the vehicle for the duration of that tour. This year Power Tour will head from Little Rock, AR to Madison, WI.

      Thanks,
      Lucas

It's between #3 and #6. I like the #5 but he is using a Toyota six and not a Ford. I know a guy witha turbo Falcon with a 260 that runs in the 11's. I would be more impressed with a Ford six myself.

I hope you win this!! It would be very cool to see your build happen here!!

I'll bet it would take 3X the $$$ to build that Inline Ford, Supra engines can run 11's on stock parts...............

The Ford six he has built, did not cost much at all. It's been in Car Craft, car is from Tucson. It does not have loads of cash into it. I am going to say he has about 5K into the entire engine!! What's so cool about it is the fact that you open the hood and it looks like a Ford. I need to see if I can find some pics!!

Here is one of it smoken em up!! http://www.turbomustangs.com/feature...willfalcon.php

Will has dialed it in alot more since this Car Craft shoot. He is running a Aussi Ford head on it now and it really woke it up!! This Falcon is just way too cool!!! I love it......his wife kelly drives it.
