      Pure Vision GTX-R

Did this car sell at Barret-Jackson or any other auction last year?

I know of it's present location, but was curious as to how it got there. I never heard of it being for sale, and the person who commissioned it's build is no longer the owner. Just curious.

Yes it sold in Jan 06-someone got a smoking deal on it too. It went through Sunday afternoon.

I remember seeing it there, but I left Sunday morning and never did see what it brought. I've always liked Steve's builds. I first met him on the Power Tour in 03 and he was driving a huge C-body. It was a cool cruiser.

Wasn't the GTX-R done for Romeo Furio? (sp?) I think he had Challenger X and the bad ars Duster that Pure Vision also did.

      Is the car forsale again?

Yes it was done for Romeo. He bought Steve's personal car "Skully" then had him build the Dust'ya then the GTX-R. But he did not have the Challenger X, that was Martin Winerieb's car (sp?).
Steve is a great guy, has stayed at my house a few times on the PT even.

Yup, that's the one. I loved the color. One of the original gauges in the dash was redone into a "Fun-O-Meter". I bet it stayed pegged all the time.
