      AMCer from Carlisle, Pa

I've been checking this site out for a long time and finally signed up a while back. Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from Carlisle, Pa.
Currently working on a 70 Javelin, ram air, auto, originally 360. Machine shop is working on my 401 for it. It will be the original Commodore Blue Metallic with blue interior. Been into the Trans Am Series cars for a loooong time. The heads I have were done a long time ago by Traco if anyone is familar with them. I'll try to figure out how to post a few pics. Also have a Challenger convertable that needs restored. Great site with awsome cars. Ron

Here are pics of the rods for my 401. Stock forged rods. I polished the beams to take the stress risers out from the forging.

Thanks. Car is scheduled to go to the body shop right after Christmas. Going to get the body work done, then prime, seal and jam it. I'll be taking it home sealed and jamed. I'll assemble it and work the bugs out then take it back for final paint later. I'll try to get some pics when its in the body shop.
