guys with lt1s!
what size exhaust are you guys running i have a 95 lt1 with le2 heads gm847 cam with rr long tube headers,37ln injectors,52mmtb,all msd ignition. i will be running dynomax bullet mufflers all the way out the back with 3in tips. i have seen most guys run 3in on there cars with lt1 is that overkill?

I have always thought 3" duals were overkill for an LT1 or any 5.7 liter SBC for that matter. My IROC (with an LT1) has a single 3" stock style aftermarket cat back and my 68 is running the cheaper Flowmaster American Thunder kit (I think it's 2-1/4" dual with a crossover tube). Both seem to run very well. I am running a cc305 cam in the LT1 in my 68 and it's very strong to me (running stock heads with upgraded valve train). I hope this helps answer your question...
