      GM part number problem

      hi all,
i have a small problem with a brand new part with a gm number.
this part is looks like the tilt assembly from a steering column.
part number from gm is GM Part 26087177,
on the box : TILT HEAD ASSEMBLY.
the problem is, i can not find out who fits that thing '?

Do random searches in the same group number, you should be able to see it if you have the tag on the box or it is labeled on the box too. The group number is more important than the part number in a search for what cars it came from. Some parts groupings don't list certain parts because they are only availble mostly as an assembly so the group number isn't even listed for some cars, but with the group number way of looking you will find something to start the trail with, Have fun.
