help drum to disc front brakes

i need the experts, I am about to change my front drum brakes to discs. The 69 camaro curently has manual drums all the way around. What is the best way to go, change master cylinder and add a booster w/ the new disks or Just put new disc brakes on with the manual master cylinder. What option makes the most sense. Thanks and your opinions are very valuabl to me.

It really depends on your personal preference and how you intend to build and drive the car. Drums up front are no fun to drive IMO, so I can understand the desire to go to discs, but the OE stuff you can throw on there are not exactly high-performance items and you'll be into them several hundred dollars before it's over. Are they better than drums? Absolutely, but they're still fairly low on the brake food chain relative to what's out there nowadays.

Post up what size wheels you're running, as that's the primary limiting factor with brakes. Obviously, bigger wheels allow for bigger brakes. If you're running 17's or bigger, then a budget C5/C6 setup packs quite a lot of bang for the buck.
      It's what I does.

How big brakes? We have kits to convert to factory Power Disc conversions for $600

or you can go with Wilwood brakes starting at $1000 or so for 12.2" with booster / master, and go up from there
