      welding in cold weather

I know that "paintless dent repair" places use many varieties of fixes..one is the hot/cold "pop" back on small dents

Does welding in 50ish degree weather have a better chance of warping panels than welding in 80+ degree weather?

I've never had that happen. Actually it's a little better for warpage, maybe a little tougher to get heat into a weld in colder weather. The weld itself will get to about the same temp. It's nicer to weld when it's cooler out as you can keep a few more clothes on and not overheat.

When it's real cold you can warm your hands by the weld to keep warm, lol.
