      newguy from missouri

hey guys, im new to the board, bought a grandma fresh 80 malibu, sporting the 267/th350, shorty headers, and a flex fan and corvette ralleys. has cruise and a/c and i plan on keeping it.

so far the plans are bagging it on 17"+ wheels, big sway bars, and keeping the luxurys....so if any of you guys have any suggestions or links to build ups or parts lemme know :D

thanks....there are quite a few things it needs still but don't they always lol

18x8 and 18x10 TT2 CL205's I've done the 1LE front brakes so I am running a 4.75" backspace on front and a 5" backspace on rear, tire size right now is 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear (I should have bought 275/40/18 but wasn't sure they'd fit) no frame notch yet but the 1/4 lips are rolled slightly.....eventually I plan to notch the frame, roll the lips completely, and run some 295 or 305/35's out back....I originally wanted 17's but got a deal I couldn't pass up on the 18's

      there ya go

I STILL like these 'bu's- I had a '78 back in the day, junkyard 350 swap, w/ a 3 speed stick! front springs sagged from the small block, so it looked REAL cool, esp w/ 15" rallys an 60 series gatorbacks on it. bodywork had been done right (front clip removed for paint), it was perfect, mechanically it was a dog.
keep going with it, there is SO much more available for them now than years ago.

yeah I should be around the local shows next year..there's a pretty nice one at the Lake of the Ozarks in the late spring too

I wanted to have mine EFI'd by next year but I just signed papers on the vacant lot next to my house, I'm thinking a garage/shop is in the future....
