      Pepper spray alarm system

All right here is what you need to add to your garage security system. I have used these in the past for training military personnel and they work very well and don't leave residue. I have personally used the ceiling mounts and wall mounts, i really like the ceiling mount because you can either drop all four cans at the same time or individually so if the bad guy keep violating the alarm it keeps dropping cans. just my two cents.

Sweet... This is the ticket. Use the larger 4000 sq/ft system in a 1200 sq/ft garage. Only question is what does this spray do to the car?? Paint, interior, rims, tires, etc .... ????

Here's a slightly more passive approach, these are getting cheaper by the day. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...=12&lang=en-US

I normally use about 4 vice grips clamped to the channel on the garage good, plus a couple of junk screwdrivers through the holes. Unless they tear the garage door down, there is no way they are getting in to steal my ****.

Actually that is pretty easy. Most all passive motion detectors can use what they call a "pet zone" basically what you do is mask off the lower portion of the lense of the motion detector which will leave a area of several feet high off the floor where pets and non climbing critters can operate/move around. When done properly the masking is undetectable by the casual observer, this is also done for problem areas like heating and cooling vents which can cause false alarms due to the extreme difference in temperatures.
