Need a windshield made! please help!!!!

ATTN: Custom Hot Rod shops & builders! I am looking for a windshield manufacturing
company that will take a full size fiberglass buck of a windshield and
make a drape mold (they heat the glass and drape it over a metal buck
that is made from the fiberglass on) for the MKIV GT40.

Note: The windshields are thinner than normal car glass of the era. I
need to get the thicknesses, but I have not had time to research who
could do that. If anyone here knows of a company that could help me out on making this windshield it would be greatly appreciated..

Here is a link of the car i'm refering too: http://www.supercars.net/cars/694.html

They may not be able to do it but they certainly would know who might be able to.

I don't know if you need glass or plexiglass for the rules, but these guy's have the pizza ovens ready to go. I have seen a bit of their shop on one of the car shows and if you can get by with lexan they have what you need.

I believe Fran Hall took over after the orriginals came to and end and he is the one making the replicas now but the windshield needed is for one of the orriginal cars not the RCR so I think the windshield thickness is different.

hmm. its it safety glass or plate? I think that would be the trick. Heat treating it or whatever they do to make it shatter in tiny pieces.

I'd call him anyway. He'd be able to point you in the right direction.
