      smaller HEI?

I've seen some smaller HEI distributors out there that run an external coil.

here's my problem, the standard HEI dist. i have now is touching the firewall and i think i'm arching. I dont want to run an MSD with the box and i'd like to keep it simple with the HEI style setup.

      Any suggestions??

      MSD 8360 and a Blaster 2 Coil. That's what I have and it's all I need!

Dave is notoriously slow in getting things done. I read a thread recently on Team Camaro that indicated he'd been injured quite significantly. I'm not sure if he's still working slow or not. Give him a call. It's a good option, but for me, I chose not to wait anymore and went with the MSD.

Summit has their brand now that look mysteriously like an MSD. Much cheaper.

Get a Performance Distributors Tri-Power. It's all you'll ever need.

I think in 89 GM started using the smaller HEI with external coil. Very easy to adapt for MSD trigger.

The smaller cap distributors have no advance mechanisims.
Itssimply for fuel injected engines unless you go to a megasquirt and use it to run ignition only or look up the megaspark also.
