Engine Test Stand
Does any one have pics or drawings of an engine test stand for a SBC? I have an engine stand but would like to set up for break in and startups.

Here's one I built about 20 years ago. Fun project as I learned how to weld while I was building it.I believe the notch at the left rear vertical mount was for the starter motor. It's been stored outside for about 15 years so I would say that Tremclad is holding up not too bad.

Here is last week's progress. I went with brackets welded on the framing, for a bolt-together, adjustable construction. The console swivels 360 degrees and I have a swing arm so that it will extend all the way to the front. Still to come are the radiator brackets, fuel cell mount, battery mount, drip pan, and tool trays.
