New guy from Dallas
Just came across this site. Been doing body work for 22 years and decided it was time to build a car for myself. Scared up a 73 Camaro from Death Valley. Very rust free but the lady that owned hit everything out there I think. Here is a pic shortly after I started tearing it down.
I am painting everything I can get to as the car is rebuilt.
Here it is as it sits today.All GM sheetmetal other than the hood and door skins. Took 1 1/2 years to scare up rust free metal for it.
Not sure what direction I am going with it but do have a 500 hp small block and a 12 bolt posi in the garage for it already.
I lurk more than I post but will post if I have something worth while to say.

please tell me your doing orange with white stripes....
That's one of the best combo's in my opinion on the second gen's!

That is the color combo. Have always had a soft spot for it.

The Vette is a toy also. Mainly driven on weekends when the wife I go somewhere. We live south of Dallas in Waxahachie, but get to drive to Dallas for work. Originally Posted by kmcanally
