Wasn't even born yet. 1 year later. I have tried making every car I've ever owned better handling since I was 15 though.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

Had some gatorbacks on a 1978 Trans Am I had in 1982. I lowered it also with some Herb Adams stuff. I had to remove the rear seat belt retractor and had to pound in the wheelhouse and trim front inner fenders to fit the tires as low as it was. Man was that a fun car. I would outrun a friend that had a 1982 Vette at the time around the twisties around my area.

Maybe try the LSX section down the page a little, you'll get more help in there than in an off-topic post.

I lowered the 69 Camaro I got for finishing high school the summer after I finished in 1977. I wanted it to look like Mark Donahue's Trans Am racer from his book "The Unfair Advantage". I sold the Camaro 25 years ago but I still have the book.

In 1985 I had a 73 RS on 15x8 ralley's with 265/50/15 all around and low enough to warrant having to put the stock exhaust manifolds on for clearance.
