      rocker change

Hey guys this is an awesome forum. Question is I have the performer rpm heads on 383 with 64 chambers 170 cc runners, I also have matching cam.(at .50 234/244 with .488/.510 lift) Will bumping to 1.6 rockers help package or hurt. Just trying to bump power a little. Evantually I'm wanting new heads with bigger runners but have to save some dough first. Thanks for help

Not worth it, just do a search for your heads flow numbers. This will show you that even the difference between .4 and .5" lift is only 5cfm/10cfm (intake/exhaust). After .5" of lift those heads are done. And the 2* increase in duration will not help much eather. Save your hard earned coin and find a great set of heads. You'll be much happier.

      cheers bbcc
