04 Gto Trans Strengh?
A friend of mine is building a 66 Goat. He bought a complete 04 gto with a 6-speed for $6500. He is planning on building the motor and probobly adding some sort of supercharger. Question is, will the stock tranny hold the power or bow out under the load? He can swap the m/6 for a 4l80e even if thats what he needs to do. Just need a little input from the gurus.
