      Who can build frames?

I am currently designing a frame for my '91 Ford Ranger extended cab so i can run C5/C6 front and rear suspension and get my ground clearance set where I want it. What shops can build the frame for me when I am done?

I believe Morrison will build a frame to your specs. But be prepared to lay down some serious coin, but in return you'll be getting a serious frame.

I think there's only a couple of shops with the ability to mandrel bend frame rails to spec with Art Morrison being one of them.

I've dealt with Art Morrison and he got my vote. Schwarts performance are also great to deal with...

Or find a local race car builder and have them build something close.

Morrison was the first one that came to my mind. I have already planed for the price tag. I'll have to check out Schwartz.

We can definitely set it up the ride height that you want to run and also set up for your tire and wheel package. Give us a ring!

I currently don't know of anybody doing this in the US. I've heard of companies in Australia doing aluminum roll cages for rally cars, but that's about it aftermarket wise......

okay looking back on my project and a good friends project. Both of us had this crazy idea to build similar trucks. However his was more for drag use.

I had a chassis shop build my back half and i am very happy with it.

John at Art Morrison build him Frame Rails and supply him with all of the suspension un-welded. Kinda in kit form.

The cost difference was significant between the two. The Morrison chassis was about half the cost and was completed in about 1/3 the time.

So if i were to do it again i would consider a complete chassis package to save time and money.

ps - If you want to build a crazy awesome looking frame you should consider Ironworks
