4th gen console

Hey,
I have a question about the fourth gen console in a first gen camaro. I know it has been done before, but! I was wondering If it is possible to make the 4th gen console e-brake work as well, has anyone done this? I was going to put a lokar e-brake in it until i decided to go with the console! maybe the lokar mechanisim will still work with the handle?
any input is appreciated. thanks

Someone on here is doing that. 4th gen counsle with shifter and E-Brake. Theres a big Gap Between the Counsle and the tranny tunnel that needs to filled with a metal piece.

Year ones hotrod camaro has it. They have a build site of it with alot of pictures of the build on there site.

Yeah i know it wont just drop into place. Sorry it wasnt very clear. but my question was can i make the e-brake work in my car. I wasnt too sure what was involved. I looked up the yearone camaro like you said, and found a picture of the mechanism, if it is the same set up for a manual i think i can make it work.

i did it with my car. i cut the tabs off the e-brake and turned them down from 90* to straight and ran bolts through the floor. my consol is borken so i cut the side of it off to fit the brake in the right place.
this is how i mounted the cables on the bottom. cable bracket and cables from a 2002 Camaro
