Andrew...I like your idea about the Corvette Radiator but where can I score a Volvo fan? And which one do I need?
Also, what about my old radiator, I still have it. Would that work?
      Tony,

I used a 4th gen radiator and fan setup I think I paid $100 for both. I'm not sure what the normal going rate is but that was about a year ago. If you want more info I can explain how I mounted it and give you the correct radiator hoses that work. I spent about an hour at advance auto looking at every hose they had, bought 10 hoses that looked like they might work and returned what didn't work ) I did drive the car last year and had no cooling problems whatsoever. It's cheap, light-weight, compact and built for that engine.

      P.S. My intake setup was less than $100. Intakehoses.com ( rubber 90* elbow and reducer ) and a S & B conical filter.
