      welding helmet

      can u guys recommend good welding helmet auto dark.thanks for your time

      Sorry, was out of town or I would have replied sooner. My NexGen has some of the best stats out there. It auto darkens for MIG/ARC/TIG and you can use it when grinding or soldering. Works great. Cost me about $300.

      I have an Optrel Satellite. It also has a "grind" mode. It's pretty handy to not have to keep switching from helmet to grinding shield.

      I have a Lincoln and I'm very happy with it.
      before that I had a Hobart which worked but broke after about a month.
