This is a new fresh start for my car. Since I need time to save up some cash test fitting parts like the radiator and other stuff sounds like a good idea and will keep me busy for a while. These are just a few photos you've all been wanting to see, get the point. I am happy now and ready to move on to complete it. I hope to have my car finished by mid summer.

OK, I gotta say you are being way too picky. That's not that big of a deal, like we all said. Finish the car and drive it like that. It's gonna get scratches and chips in it as you drive it; You didn't pay $40k for the paint job, that's a paint job well beyond what you paid for; metalics are very hard to get right. It could have been a lot worse. Don't waste the money redoing it now; wait a few years, get some chips from racing and touring; then repaint it. That way you are using the car right away.

these do not even include chips, cracked body filler, parts that where put on with a brush I have. Its to bad I can not capture the orange peal on the camera. There are hundreds of little dipples in the paint under the clear coat. Thanks for telling me its not to picky for a car like this. Just wanted to let ya know I not nuts.

Again- I am the shop that worked on this car and have offered on every post of mine to have the customer work with me on what he feels isn't right about his car. The ball is in his court now and he has not contacted me.

I am a professional shop and stand behind the work we do. The inner fender well picture listed shows an area of the car that the customer only wanted painted, not finished (we sanded or buffed to a 'cherry' finish) in any way.

Bad mouthing anyone ,whether a shop or car owner, isn't a good thing to do in this hobby.industry- the car world is just too small.

We could go on and on but I have offered to work with the customer and he isn't doing so- so isn't this just beating a dead horse with the derogatory slanderous statements /pics from him?
I feel like he would rather just complain instead of actually wanting to work on his issues.

The last picture of a hood (or something? ) with a blue stripe, isn't something that came from my shop- don't even know WHAT that is...

Again, if anyone wishes to chat with me about this job or any other I am doing or have done, my shop door is always open. I have nothing to hide and have said that since day one.

Ive agreed to work with the customer on anything he feels is wrong. If he wont take me up on it- there is nothing else I can do is there?

awesometool... I completely understand about the paint. The first car i had painted turned out much worse then yours.
I'm talking runs in the paint blotchiness throughout. But you know what you gotta look on the bright side of the situation.
I autocrossed the piss out of it, and beat the crap out of that car. Took it back to the shop like maybe 3 months later and
he redid the entire thing and it came out perfect after that i was afraid to go take it autocrossing and what not. I lost the
carefree love for that car.

Take it from someone who's been in your exact same shoes. Drive your car and drive it hard. Set up a date with the
shop and get it repainted. It's not like you're going to lose any more money. Think about this and really cool down
don't just jump into something.

Hi awesome tool, the guy at the paintshop has offered to redo any problems that you've got with the car, so instead of posting up pictures &
ripping into him on various forums looking for sympathy, take the guy up on his offer. If after that you don't get total satisfaction THEN it's
time to "discuss" your issues. As you've been told numerous times on other forums the total you paid for the sheetmetalwork & the paintjob
was very reasonable, but that's not to say that you should accept what you believe to be sub standard work, just work out your issues
with the paintshop, not moan to all & sundry about it. Other threads about this matter have already been locked/deleted, no doubt
because the webmasters there feel that you could be getting into a slanderous/court case position here. Take the advice given &
enjoy the car until such time you get it repainted by the 'shop. I bet it'll be 110% correct that time huh?

Out of curiosity, did you complain to whoever painted the stripe on your wifes car?? The paintwork is full of crap & the edges of the stripe
don't have a "sharp" line to it where the paint has bled through under the tape. This looks far worse than the Camaro IMHO

The shop owner is trying, at least seems to be trying on the internet to work this out with you. Everyone has already heard both sides of the story and honestly most don't care. This should NOT be debated, discussed or "tried in Kangaroo court" here on the internet. We don't have all the facts, nor do we know all the details.
