      a bench for all occasions

Ok, the bench seat in my duster has got to have something done with it. i was thinking of swapping for buckets, but the bench seat/4 in the floor combo just looks too brutal. so im going to retain it. only problems are that its highly uncomfortable, and has no adjustment or side bolstering. so i was thinking of adding the side bolstering, lumbar support, and maybe trying to make the backs recline so i dont have to sit at parochial school posture for mils on end. recover the whole works in a factory style cover to match the factory back seat.
what do you guys think? is this doable? has anyone done it? what could i do myself to have less of a bite taken out by the upholsterer? ill admit, im pretty decent at building things, but upholstry is always something ive farmed out or bought repro stuff on, so im in a new ball game here. plese advise.

I'm going to do the same in my nova. Just add some bolsters new foam, and have it recovered. The bench seats in some cars are just to cool .

thats the kind of thing i was talking about. something pretty close to that, only with more agressive bolstering.

thanks for the picture. now i have something to show my interior guy.
