      GTO suspensions

I've been looking at different suspension systems for my car (1968 GTO) and was wondering what every one thought if they had any opinions about different ones. I've looked at Hotchkins and edlebroch and a couple off name ones. i just wanted to know what everyon thought was good or what anyone was using.

I may be a little biased on the suspension stuff but I think ours offers the best performance and the most adjustability at a very attractive price. Like I said though I may be a little biased.

I have to ask,is the Punisher GTO going to be primer black and have roll down bulletproof window shutters etc.? That would be very cool! I`ve been a Punisher fan since the original comic back in the 80s. Mark SC&C

I just finished piecing together my 67 GTO suspension. I have to agree with Mark, he has some great products that are very resonably priced.
If I can't get my Hotchkis upper control arms to fit right I may be looking to get a set of his adjustable uppers.

Here's a link to my build with info.

Good luck with your car, I like the idea.

Heh heh,we have new stealth black ProLite arms coming out soon that would really fit into the Punisher theme too.
I think the bulletproof shutters were anchored to the roof. The side shutters would have to be raised to open the doors. Remember for movies they can make several different versions for different scenes but you`ll only have one. Even if you just did the rear window it would be cool and get the point across.
One thing I can tell you is that if the Punisher`s car had been SC&C equipped Harry Heck would have seen nothing but tail lights!

A friend of mine did his big block ProTouring `64 Dodge pickup in black basecoat with no clear. It`s held up pretty well for several years now. With a red interior, red door jams and hood seams peeking out here and there is has a very Batmobile look to it. You`d almost think it was built to a BatTruck.
After an unfortunate incident with loosing a front wheel and tire while driving (I thought you tightened the lug nuts....) they were immediately cristened (by me!) as the BatTruck Ejector Wheels !
That really stuck, now he`s got a Batman theme truck until he paints it yellow or something. Mark SC&C

I'll put in another vote for SC&C. Best piece of advice I can give is plan the whole suspension and brakes up front and stick to it, even if it takes time to save up the coin to do it right. It will keep you from wasting money like I did upgrading again and again. I've had three different front control arms, two rear, three different sets of sway bars, three different sets of shocks, to different brake systems, etc...you get my point. If I'd had a plan and stuck to it, I'd have more money to finish up rather than a barn full of barely used parts.
